This is from the Mobile Santa Founder Tim Letsch: We have tonight and tomorrow night and then Mobile Santa 2014 gets put in the record books. Every year that we do this there are always unsung heroes. People that rise above the challenges of life to work at this amazing event. Let me first thank every one of the workers that have devoted time, talent, and perseverance to this unique event. You are to be commended for your integrity and faithfulness. Usually, I wouldn't say anything else, because everyone's involvement is so vital, but there are 2 individuals that have coordinated and planned this event for the last 4 years straight. Every year just gets better and better. This year will be the highest attended Mobile Santa ever!! I have heard several comments about how organized and planned Mobile Santa is, and I want to give credit where credit is due. Cheryl Letsch and JoAnna Grace (Voyles) have organized, out-planned, overachieved, and overwhelmingly outlasted the critics and have been totally fine with staying behind the scenes to allow for the cast of characters to be the face of this ministry. The fact is, aside from God, these two are the force and wind behind the sails of Mobile Santa. I would like for each of you to consider appreciating them in a way that Mobile Santa has never asked for before. We will always keep Mobile Santa free of charge everywhere it operates and every dollar that comes in from sponsors goes to the actual event of Mobile Santa. It may come as a surprise, but there are currently no salaried employees of Mobile Santa. The fact that these two INCREDIBLE ladies have worked full time for the last several months on this event, is inspiring and worthy of honor. I would love to take a Facebook (online) appreciation collection for them. Every penny given (designated) will be spilt evenly between them to say a big THANK YOU for such hard work and devotion to this event. If you have been blessed by this event and want to say thank you, please consider doing so by going to our site: http://www.crossroadstexas.org/about-us/online-giving.html Selecting the option (Gift for Mobile Santa Coordinators). It doesn't have to be much, and you could just leave a message below, but for all of the stress, the time away from family and the months of preparation it takes to do this any pay, (not that they would ever ask for it) I thought it would be nice to share a Christmas Blessing with them. Will you join me in thanking them? If you have any questions please contact me at (903) 881-5755. All gifts are tax deductible and are anonymous. If you would like to mail a gift please do by sending it to our sponsoring church: Crossroads Community Church PO Box 396 Lindale, TX 75771

Ah.... Mobile Santa week is drawing to a close. There is nothing more fulfilling/tiring then working this great ministry. After a week of Mobile Santa I can state with absolute surety that this area desperately needs Jesus. There is a blatant attack on our homes. God is moving on my heart for the fathers of this area. I need some God (not good) ideas for on how to promote family. Our kids need to know good daddies and mommies... Thank you to the cities of Lindale, Van and Mineola for allowing us the opportunity to invade your towns with loud music, exuberant people, hot chocolate and screaming kids, but please know that our involvement doesn't stop with Santa... We know that Santa is but a tool to be used to love people the way that God commands to love and to be a vital part of our community. We will continue to do what we can and are called to do to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. God help us if we (as a body of believers) don't follow Him because, like it or not, people do follow us. We want to be a faithful representative of His love, mercy and grace to all peoples. Please be praying for us to do just that. -PT (AKA Pastor Tim)
